Asda Foundation Support for Community Projects Around Dumbarton

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates six projects that have recently received support from the Asda Foundation through Asda Dumbarton; notes that Erskine Hospital has been presented with £500 to purchase activity resources for its residents, the West of Scotland Autism and Asperger's Centre has been awarded £750 to purchase equipment for its sensory room for children, £250 has been given to Rock Community Church to purchase sanitary products to fight period poverty, £500 has been presented to Dumbarton United AFC U13 Girls, following the team winning the customer vote, and that Colgrain Bowling Club and Bellsmyre Schools Out Club have each received £200 as the runners-up in the vote; welcomes the work of the foundation in providing grants to charitable causes across the country; notes that, in 2018, it invested more than £370,000 in community projects; welcomes what it sees as its positive impact, and sends its best wishes to the successful projects in the Dumbarton area.
