Aberdeen Harbour Board’s Community Action Trust Funding Boost
The motion
That the Parliament celebrates the award of £10,000 made by Aberdeen Harbour Board’s Community Action Trust to Middlefield Community Project; recognises that, since the trust was established in 2014, more than half a million pounds has been donated to local charities and organisations; further recognises that tens of thousands of people in the north east have benefited as a result; understands that the Middlefield Community Project plans to direct this funding toward wages for a mental health and youth worker for 12- to 26-year-olds in the area, and wishes them every success in conducting programmes to help young people who have been affected through their road to recovery.
