Auchmuty and Dovecot Tenants and Residents Association Receives National Lottery Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Auchmuty and Dovecot Tenants and Residents Association on securing £111,682 from the National Lottery Community Fund Scotland; notes that the group will use the funding to increase the opening hours of the community flat in Auchmuty from the current five days per week to seven days, which will benefit 1,500 local people and involve 50 volunteers; understands that some of the services provided will include advice and support on tenancy issues, signposting to relevant agencies and a weekend foodbank, and wishes everyone at the association every success.
