Charles Bain BEM Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Charles Bain on being awarded a BEM for his work raising money for the charity, Alzheimer’s Research UK, and for specialist equipment for scientists at the University of Aberdeen; understands that Charles has raised an estimated £300,000 for research into the disease; notes that he and his wife hold a ball biannually to help raise money; thanks Charles for his ongoing contribution to support people with Alzheimer's in Aberdeen, and wishes him success in his future endeavours.
