Boost for Brain Injury Support
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Momentum on receiving a £100,000 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund Scotland to deliver services in the Scottish Borders; understands that the money will go towards continuing the group’s work in supporting people with acquired brain injuries, helping them to re-establish social connections with their community and to take part in activities that will improve their health and wellbeing; notes that, over the next three years, the project is expected to support 180 people and their families and carers; considers that such services are vital in promoting social inclusion for people with brain injuries and their loved ones, and congratulates everyone involved.
