Changing Faces Lottery Success
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the £100,000 awarded to Changing Faces from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that the funding will be used to support a group of young people aged 10 to 25, most of whom will have a visible disfigurement, to campaign and educate through workshops in schools and through the media for face equality; understands that young people with a visible difference will be supported to articulate their personal experiences so that they can challenge discrimination, and achieve acceptance and respect from their peers, and wishes everyone involved in the campaign every success.
