The Marie Trust Funding Success
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Marie Trust on its recent £499,332 award from the National Lottery Community Fund; acknowledges that it will use this to run a community outreach service, which has been designed to tackle the conditions that can create repeat episodes of homelessness, and by consequence, hospitalisation or imprisonment; believes that this will help address the disengagement from treatment services that prevent people with the most complex needs from fully integrating into their communities; commends the commitment of everyone involved, and wishes the trust all the best with this and its other work.
