St Andrews High School Pupils Achieve Caritas Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates pupils from St Andrew’s High School in Kirkcaldy on being awarded a Caritas award; understands that the award is a supported year-long programme of service undertaken by pupils in the senior secondary stages, primarily in Roman Catholic schools where pupils undertake a programme of voluntary service and reflect on their experience; notes that 15 pupils from St Andrews completed the programme and were awarded the Caritas at a ceremony at the Scottish Exhibition Centre in Glasgow, and encourages more pupils to participate in the award.
