Norman MacDonald MBE
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Norman MacDonald, who is from Inverness, on being appointed an MBE in The Queen’s Birthday Honours List for his services to charity and terminally ill people in the Highlands and Islands; recognises that he has been supporting Highland Hospice for more than a decade and has served as its chair since 2016; understands that Norman played a key role in fundraising £7.2 million to modernise the hospice’s facility on Ness Walk, Inverness, and wishes Norman the very best.
