Dundee Mental Health Charities Receive Lottery Funding
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that two Dundee-based mental health charities will share more than £140,000 of support from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that Haven Dundee has been awarded £70,000, which it will use to provide a community café, befriending and mentoring services, support groups and social activities for people with experience of psychosis, and that Stand Easy Dundee City will use its award of £70,298 to run a programme of workshops for veterans and members of the military with post-traumatic stress disorder; acknowledges that this funding will help the charities support 144 people across Tayside, and wishes them success with these projects and their other work.
