Defibrillators Put in Place in Glenrothes
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the potentially life-saving defibrillators that have been made available to the public in Glenrothes, thanks to the efforts of Scottish Fire and Rescue Service crews, East Neuk Responders, Police Scotland, Glenrothes High School and the Glenrothes Neighbourhood Safety Group; notes that the equipment can be found at Cluny Clays and the CISWO; understands that, each year, an estimated 3,500 people in Scotland go into cardiac arrest; believes that this makes the installation of the defibrillators important in helping to save lives, and wishes all involved with their installation every success.
