John McKean, Teacher of the Year
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates John McKean, who is a language and communication principal teacher at St Ninian’s High School in Kirkintilloch, on being named Teacher of the Year at the Scottish Education Awards; celebrates John's hard work in supporting all of his students to reach their full potential and focusing on each as individuals; understands that St Ninian’s 2018 inspection saw the best results of any school under Education Scotland’s current system, and congratulates all at the school on this news.
