Knots to Watts Competition
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates pupils from Kingsland Primary School on winning the Knots to Watts competition at a Young Engineers and Science Club event in Glasgow; understands that the team of seven P6 pupils won the competition for designing a floating offshore wind turbine, and that a working model was produced and submitted to judges; notes that the winning pupils were awarded a trophy and a grant of £250 to be spent on the school’s Young Engineers Club, and wishes the pupils all the best for the future.
