Orkney Housing Association Wins Scottish Housing Association of the Year

That the Parliament congratulates Orkney Housing Association Ltd (OHAL) on winning Scottish Housing Association of the Year at the Scottish Home Awards 2019 in Glasgow; understands that these prestigious awards recognise excellence in new-build housing across Scotland; acknowledges that OHAL achieved extremely high satisfaction levels from both tenants and staff during its performance surveys last year and that these results contributed to their win; commends Craig Spence and the whole team at OHAL for their hard work, commitment and dedication to high-quality customer service, which has seen them pick up this honour; considers that housing associations make a significant contribution to communities across Scotland, and wishes OHAL and the sector continued success in meeting the needs of the communities that they serve.
