Ardagh Glass Donates to Six Charities
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the kindhearted workers at Irvine’s Ardagh Glass on donating £6,000 to six good causes; understands that cheques for £1,000 each were donated to Ayrshire Hospice, Hansel Foundation, Haysholm School, Irvine and Troon Cancer Care, Sense Scotland and Ayrshire Young Parkinson’s Group; notes that the cash was raised through employees donating part of their wages each month; commends the generosity of all those involved, and wishes them all the best for the future.
