Irvine’s Marymass Queen Elect, Kerris-Lee Galloway
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kerris-Lee Galloway, who is 15, on her outstanding accomplishment on being selected as the Queen for the 2019 Marymass Festival in Irvine, making her the 91st Marymass Queen Elect; understands that the festival, which dates back to 1372, is the largest and most recognised such event in West Scotland; notes the historical changes that have been made to make it more inclusive by expanding the postcode area that it covers, and wishes Kerris-Lee, her Royal Party, and all who will be organising and participating in the festival, every success.
