Daniel's Mammoth Cycle for Parkinson’s UK
The motion
That the Parliament supports Daniel Grimes in his effort to cycle from Land's End to John o' Groats to raise funds for Parkinson’s UK; understands that it will take Daniel 10 to 14 days to complete the challenge, which he arranged after discovering that a colleague was directly affected by the condition; believes that around 127,000 people in the UK, around 1 in 500, have Parkinson's; admires Daniel's commitment and selflessness, and wishes him the best of luck with this challenge and his other endeavours.
