The Cove Burgh Hall Refurbishment Project
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Cove Burgh Hall group on being awarded funding for its repair project, which will cover extensive fabric repairs, including stone and steel works, timber repairs, refurbishment and conservation works, to the main façade of the 126-year-old building; understands that the money is being awarded by the Argyll and the Islands LEADER 2014-2020 programme and complements other funding from Historic Environment Scotland, the Robertson Trust, the Trusthouse Charitable Foundation and the hall's own finances; recognises that this is a positive step forward for the group, which is a small charitable volunteer-led organisation, and wishes it every success with the repair and renovation of the historic and much-loved community hall.
