Capital Carers Ltd Receives Corra Foundation Funding

That the Parliament congratulates Capital Carers Ltd, which is based in the Edinburgh West constituency, on being awarded £4,680 from the Corra Foundation’s Henry Duncan Grants; applauds the work of Capital Cares Ltd, which supports carers in their ever-changing role that includes work to reduce stress and isolation in the people that they care for; understands that the money will cover the salary of a part-time support worker for the side-to-side project that supports individuals with dementia and their carers; pays tribute to the work of carers in helping those with dementia and, in return, the support that the carers receive, and hopes that this funding will help the organisation to continue its tremendous work throughout the community.
