Woodside Court Care Home Picks Up Silver Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Glenrothes-based care home, Woodside Court, which is operated by HC-One, on receiving the silver award for training and activities for older adults at the Active Fife conference in June 2019; notes that the wellbeing coordinator at Woodside Court, Marion Leslie, had been invited to speak at Windmill Campus on how the home supports and cares for the older community; further notes that she received great feedback from Care Inspectorate representatives, home managers, carers and other wellbeing coordinators from the local area who attended the conference; understands that the team from Woodside Court that attended the conference also learned some valuable skills and tools that will help towards the continuous improvement of the support and care that residents receive, and wishes the team at Woodside Court the best of luck with their futures.
