Kirkintilloch Players Crowned Scottish Champions
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Kirkintilloch Players youth section on being crowned Scottish champions for the second time in three years at the Scottish Community Drama Association One Act Festival in Stranraer in June 2019, collecting four trophies along the way; understands that the cast of eight, aged from 14 to 17, entered the play, Scarfed for Life, which is a humorous and thought provoking look at Glasgow’s Old Firm football tradition; notes that this young cast has worked very hard since September rehearsing and performing the play, and wishes everyone involved continued success captivating and amusing audiences in the future.
