Congratulations to West Calder High Pupils on Enterprise Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates pupils from West Calder High School on receiving a national social enterprise award; notes that this was presented by the Deputy First Minister at the 12th Social Enterprise in Education Awards, which were held at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh; understands that this was for an innovative project to sell wrist bands to raise awareness of mental health issues, and recognises the valuable life skills that are learnt in establishing a social enterprise that empowers young people to change their community for the better.
