Give the Dog a Bone
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Give the Dog a Bone from Troon, South West Ayrshire, on being the winners at the Scottish Charity Awards on 14 June 2019; understands that Give the Dog a Bone tackles loneliness through animal companionship for people over 60 to help them afford a rescue pet; praises the charity for helping hundreds of older adults and rescue animals to have a happier life together; notes that the charity also offers a Community Space project where it provides a safe place to make new friends and learn new skills, and wishes Give the Dog a Bone all the very best with its future ventures.
