Awards for All Success in Glasgow Kelvin

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the organisations in the Glasgow Kelvin constituency that received funding from the National Lottery Awards for All Scotland programme; understands that Parent Network Scotland received £9,700 and will use this to deliver adverse childhood experiences recovery toolkit training to parents who find parenting challenging due to their own childhood trauma; notes that theGKexperience received £10,000 and will use this to fund a part-time youth worker, who will oversee young children accessing and pursuing activities to ensure that they do so safely; acknowledges that the Guinean Association of Glasgow received £9,258 and will use this to support monthly members' meetings, as well as deliver three larger events open to the wider community; notes that Together For Better Life received £9,987, which will be used to deliver IT courses to Arabic speakers with no experience of IT; welcomes the funding awards to these organisations, and commends the staff and volunteers for the valuable work that they do across the Glasgow Kelvin constituency.
