Funding for PlayPeace
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the awarding of a £10,000 Awards for All Scotland grant to PlayPeace; understands that the organisation works across North Lanarkshire to support families that have a child or children with an additional support need or a disability; notes that the group offers play activities, holiday activities and parent/carer support groups for families who may feel isolated in North Lanarkshire and that it uses a welcoming and inclusive approach; acknowledges that this funding will allow it to deliver even more services, and wishes PlayPeace every success in its future endeavours.
