Bishopbriggs School Competes in Glasgow Mod 2019
The motion
That the Parliament commends the excellent singing voices of the children from the Gaelic Unit at Meadowburn Primary School in Bishopbriggs, who competed at the recent annual Glasgow 2019 local Mod; understands that the children were very successful in the many competitions that they entered, including clarsach harp, choir, solo singing and poetry recitation; commends the local Mod and the main Glasgow Mod for showcasing Gaelic culture, and wishes the competitors and medalists from Meadowburn continued success in the future.
