Aulds Bakery Success at Scottish Baker of the Year Event
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Aulds Bakery on its success at the Scottish Baker of the Year event; notes that its melt-in-the-mouth biscuit with jammy centre and chocolate icing topped with fudge, Maltesers and Flake were awarded a regional silver after a Scotland-wide vote and Masterchef-style taste test; recognises that the Greenock bakers also celebrated success in the savoury selection with its stoater, which is pastry with stewed Aberdeen Angus beef, also achieving a regional silver award; believes that these awards reflect the high-quality bakes that Aulds offers to customers in Inverclyde and further afield, and wishes the business all the best for the future.
