Return of the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the return of the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival, which runs from 12 to 21 July 2019; understands that the festival will include over 140 concerts across 10 venues; recognises the cultural value in the renowned festival, which was originally set up in 1978 by the banjo player and guitarist, Mike Hart; applauds the work of the musicians, crew, volunteers and everyone who make the festival a success, and hopes that the festival continues for years to come.
