Awards for All Funding in Falkirk District
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes £17,502 in funding from the National Lottery's Awards for All programme to be shared by three organisations in Falkirk district; understands that the Friends of Tremanna, which provides support to Tremanna care home in Slamannan, received £1,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund to buy arts and crafts resources to deliver regular activity sessions, with Falkirk District Credit Union securing £6,512 from the same fund to improve the signage and appearance of its building and provide training for its staff and volunteers, and that Glas(s) Performance Limited was awarded an Awards for All grant of £9,990 through Creative Scotland to help Polmont Youth Theatre develop a Winter Show to be shared with families and communities at the end of 2019; acknowledges the benefits that National Lottery awards have provided in communities over the years, which has allowed community projects to be developed and delivered for the benefit of all people living in the area; wishes each of these organisations the very best going forward, and looks forward to hearing of more successful National Lottery awards being delivered in Falkirk district.
