Tankerness Hall in Orkney Receives Lottery Funding

That the Parliament congratulates Tankerness Hall in Orkney on receiving a £5,000 Awards for All Scotland grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the group will use the funding to install a new heating system and build additional storage space for the St Andrews Community Centre in Tankerness; notes that the hall is home to many different events that cater for everyone and brings people together within the community, playing an important role in improving people’s social wellbeing; commends all of the dedicated individuals in the St Andrews Community Association for their hard work securing the grant and running the centre, and wishes them the very best for all of their future events.
