Peterhead Port Authority Team Raises £10,000 for Cancer Research
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Peterhead Port Authority's relay team, Pirates of the Bay, on taking part in the town's recent Relay For Life; notes that the team raised more than £10,000, with all proceeds going to Cancer Research UK; understands that 31 other teams took part in the round-the-clock charity walk at Catto Park, raising a total of £144,903.24; thanks all of the participants, and wishes the event further success in 2020.
