Hwupenyu Health and Well-being Project
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Hwupenyu Health and Well-being Project, which is the south side of Glasgow, on receiving £131,000 in lottery funding to provide culturally sensitive support services for black, Asian, minority ethnic and refugee (BAMER) people living with HIV and employ a mental health worker to support participants; acknowledges that this three-year project will be run by 25 volunteers and will aim to help around 280 people, and sends its best wishes to all involved with it.
