Hospice Volunteer, Betty Neil
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Betty Neil from Bishopbriggs on being presented with an award to honour her 20 years of service at Marie Curie Hospice in Glasgow, where she volunteers as a tea lady; understands that Betty loves interacting with the patients and chatting away to them and has always felt very privileged to be able to do this; applauds Betty on her dedication, and commends the nine Marie Curie hospices around the country that offer vital support and specialist care to patients and their families every day.
