Kirkwall Airport Recognised for Service and Accessibility
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kirkwall Airport on being classified as "very good" in a recent survey carried out by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on services for disabled passengers; notes that Kirkwall is one of only 14 airports in the UK to have appeared in this classification, which demonstrates its high level of service delivery and accessibility; understands that the airport has upgraded its facilities for people with additional needs and has provided additional disabilities training for its staff, which contributed to the CAA awarding such a high classification, and recognises the excellent work of the airport staff in providing a high quality level of service and assistance for all passengers and ensuring that the airport is as inclusive as possible.
