Lewis Capaldi Pays Tribute to Robbie McArthur
The motion
That the Parliament notes that the Whitburn singer, Lewis Capaldi, performed his chart topping hit, Someone You Loved, at the recent TRNSMT festival in Glasgow in tribute to Robbie McArthur from Lochgelly in Fife; notes that Robbie took his own life in May 2019 and his family and friends subsequently launched an online bid to get Lewis to perform the song in tribute to his life; recognises that suicide has a lasting impact on the lives of loved ones and friends, and congratulates all those who are working hard to lift the stigma of depression and mental health problems so that people can get the treatment they need.
