Methlick Cycle Challenge Raises £3,500 for Local Good Causes
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the organisers of the Methlick Cycle Challenge on the success of the 2019 event; understands that over 100 cyclists between the ages of nine and 73 took part in the challenge; notes that this included three routes of 70 miles, 40 miles and a family-friendly 20-mile option; recognises that the event raised over £3,500, which will be distributed among local good causes; believes that events such as this help bring communities together as well as encourage physical wellbeing; commends the organisers on their efforts, and wishes all those involved well.
