Hydrogen Buses for Aberdeen
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that Aberdeen is to be the first city in the world to introduce hydrogen-powered double decker buses; understands that the new buses will be more efficient than their electric equivalents, and that refuelling will only take 10 minutes; notes that the new buses will reduce carbon emissions and help tackle air pollution; believes that these new additions demonstrate Aberdeen’s commitment to being a world leader for energy innovation and technology, and hopes to see more cities across the UK follow Aberdeen’s example.
