BBC Children in Need Grant Success for The Miracle Foundation
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates The Miracle Foundation on its recent BBC Children in Need grant; notes that the charity, which is based in Motherwell, will use the £30,000 awarded over the next three years to deliver a programme of support to young people who have been affected by bereavement across North Lanarkshire; further notes that the programme will fund a part-time counsellor who will deliver support such as one-to-one and group bereavement counselling, art therapy and play workshops that will help support young people to fell less isolated and develop self-esteem and confidence, and wishes the Foundation well in all its future endeavours.
