Kilwinning Teenager Set to Tour Scotland
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates 17-year-old Lauren McGowan from Kilwinning on being picked for a prestigious dance training and performance programme set to tour Scotland; understands that Lauren was selected from a rigorous audition process to form Project Y company alongside 19 other young dancers from across the UK; notes that the company will work with four different choreographers over the summer to create new dance works; commends Lauren for her exceptional talent, and wishes her every success in the future.
