Motherwell Firefighter Celebrates 40 Years of Service
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Motherwell firefighter, John Devine, on celebrating 40 years with the service; notes that John joined the then Strathclyde Fire Brigade in 1979 and has spent most of his career at Hamilton Fire Station; understands that John was joined by his family and colleagues to celebrate the milestone and received a certificate from the Area Commander, Alan Fairbairn, and thanks John, and all members of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service for their dedicated service to the communities of Scotland.
