Garioch Charities Shop Donates £20,000 to Local Good Causes
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Garioch Charities Shop on donating £20,000 to four local charities; notes that the charities benefiting from the funds are Friends of Inverurie Hospital, the Gaitherin, Gordon Dementia Services and Homestart Garioch; understands that the Garioch Charities Shop, located on the High Street in Inverurie, opened just over 20 years ago and in that time has raised over £500,000 for the local community; commends the effort of those involved, and wishes the Shop well.
