Bill and Clarice Celebrate 60 Years of Marriage
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Bill and Clarice Forrest from Milton of Campsie on their diamond wedding anniversary, which they celebrated recently with family and friends; notes that the couple met while they were working at Blackie & Son Publishers in Bishopbriggs, were married on 15 July 1959 and have two children and two grandchildren; applauds Bill, who has been singing with the Glasgow Phoenix Choir for 60 years, and Clarice, who has been a volunteer with the WRI and Woman’s Guild, and wishes them both many more happy years together.
