Opening of the Scottish Specialist Transport and Retrieval (Scotstar) North Base
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the opening of the Scottish Specialist Transport and Retrieval (Scotstar) North Base; understands that the base is located at Aberdeen Airport and will look after adults who have been brought to Aberdeen via aircraft in life-threatening situations; notes that Scotstar North will build on the newly opened trauma centres in Dundee and Aberdeen, and looks forward to it offering a more coordinated trauma rescue response across the north east.
