Julie Campbell from Markinch Publishes Comic Book
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Julie Campbell, who is from Markinch, on the first edition of her comic book, The White Lamp, which is the first of four planned editions that are aimed at 8-12 year olds; acknowledges that Julie has given up her job as a museum curator in Dundee in order to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a comic book illustrator; believes that she is a well-known face on the Scottish comic convention scene, and wishes Julie the very best with her new career.
