Kasim Wins Top Award

That the Parliament commends the achievement of a former Deans High School pupil, Kasim Rafiq who has recently received a Fullbright Award; understands that he has been selected to undertake a project assessing the use of tourist photographs in monitoring wildlife populations and that the award will enable Kasim to do further research at University College Santa Cruz in California, and believes that this is a fantastic achievement for the young West Lothian researcher. This motion is necessary in the public interest.
