Caddon Design's Tour of Britain Trophy
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges that the Clovenfords-based design studio, Caddon Design, has created a trophy for the Scottish Borders stage of the Tour of Britain cycling road race; notes that the trophy, which is constructed from glass and sits on an oak plinth, was designed by the expert glassmaker, Kenny Scott, who has over 24 years of professional glassmaking experience; understands that the trophy will be awarded to the winner of the almost 100-mile stage, which will take place entirely within the Scottish Borders; thanks Kenny for his hard work in designing the trophy, and wishes the cyclists and their teams all the best for the stage.
