Shetland Win Milne Cup
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Shetland team for winning the Milne Cup at 2019’s inter-county football match with Orkney at Gilberston Park; understands that the game went to a penalty shootout, which Shetland won 5-4; notes that this was the 101st meeting between the two sides and follows on from Orkney’s victory in the centenary match last year, and wishes both teams, and the tournament, every success in the future.
