Loch Lomond Rugby Club Awarded Prestigious Grant from the Scottish Rugby Union

That the Parliament congratulates Loch Lomond Rugby Club on being awarded a grant from the Scottish Rugby Union through the Royal Bank of Scotland Rugby Force scheme; understands that Loch Lomond Rugby Club was chosen from over 140 clubs that applied for the £1,000 grant; notes that the Royal Bank of Scotland Rugby Force is a grassroots initiative run in association with Scottish Rugby; further notes that the programme is designed to help clubs up and down the country to attract and retain members, develop their facilities and make their club more sustainable for the future; acknowledges the positive impact that Loch Lomond Rugby Club has had on the local community in improving the health of younger residents and creating a warm and welcoming community ethos; encourages people to attend its open day on 10 August 2019, and wishes the club all the best as it puts its grant to good use.
