Men’s Mental Health Group Launches in East Calder
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates David Phillip on launching a Men’s Mental Health Group in East Calder to help men in West Lothian with issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, addiction and panic attacks; understands that the group is growing regularly and that David hopes to launch a wellbeing service with a local hub by September 2019; recognises that suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of 50 across the UK, and commends groups such as this for speaking honestly about mental health problems and seeking to find collective help among people experiencing them.
