Aberdeen FC, On the Ball Campaign
The motion
That the Parliament commends Aberdeen FC for participating in the On the Ball campaign to provide free sanitary products at football stadiums; notes that Aberdeen has partnered with the local social enterprise, CFINE, the Scottish Government FairShare Initiative and its own partner charity, the Aberdeen FC Community Trust, to help raise awareness and tackle period poverty; understands that all female toilets in Pittodrie Stadium will now provide free sanitary products, starting with the league season curtain-raiser against Hearts, and commends the club, campaign organisers and all charity partners for helping to tackle period poverty so that all women, regardless of income, can have access to essential items for daily life.
